 Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Executive is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives for assigned accounts by promoting and selling training services through professional, consultative sales techniques, and long-term customer relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Meet minimum sales and collections targets, as set forth by the general manager.
  • Identify new opportunities for business with both existing and new clients.
  • Manage client relationships, including making telephone and face-to-face sales calls.
  • Support customer acquisition activities, email marketing, online webinars and seminar events.
  • Prepare written presentations, proposals and price quotations.
  • Give presentations and briefings to clients as needed.
  • Master the information presented during sales meetings.
  • Continually learn new product and industry knowledge and improve selling skills.
  • Use computer software tools to track client contact information, communicate with potential clients, and perform other sales-related functions.
  • Contact customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars.
  • Match programs to customer requirements, and close contracts for defined programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and center support to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS*

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Experience within a quota driven sales environment.
  • Experience with Sandler sales techniques and consultative sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as CMS, Goldmine, or ACT!

*Also willing to train a motivated recent college grad with positive mental attitude and willingness to learn.

 Applications Instructor

JOB SUMMARY

The Applications Instructor for New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Albany will utilize excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to provide quality training on a variety of computer applications courses. Example courses may include software products such as Microsoft Office and, Adobe Creative Suite. You may also train on a variety of business skills such as Project Management and Team Building.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Prepare for each class and deliver state of the art training in computer software programs.
  • Train in our location or at client sites. Travel between these sites may be required.
  • Additional Responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary by management.
  • Continually learn new product and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manger and other trainers to develop new programs.

Desired Skills, Certifications and Previous Experience:

Candidates should have experience in an instructional position teaching content to learners of varied backgrounds. The applications instructor will be required to teach multiple courses from the subjects below and should be qualified for at least (1) of the below certifications or technologies.

Candidates should possess one of the following Certifications:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)

Candidates should be able to teach two of the following course area offerings:

  • Microsoft Office Applications (including but not limited to: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Publisher)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (including but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Acrobat)
  • QuickBooks
  • Crystal Reports
  • SQL Reporting services
  • InfoPath

Candidates must be willing to complete the following Certified Trainer Certifications:

  • MOS
  • CTT+
  • MCT
  • ACE
 Technical Instructor

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Instructor for New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Albany will provide appropriate, intellectually stimulating instruction for Technical Courses in areas such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, Development, Programming and more depending on area of expertise. The technical instructor may deliver training using differing modalities including self-paced learning, Mentored Learning, HDL, Connected Classroom and traditional ILT (including client-site, blended, and custom classes.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Prepare for each class and deliver state of the art training.
  • Continually learn new product and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manger and other trainers to develop new programs.
  • Provide training taking into consideration the unique abilities of each student.
  • Update technical, sales, and business knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly training scores.

Desired Skills, Certifications and Previous Experience

Candidates should have experience in an instructional position teaching technical content to learners or have an extensive technical background. The technical instructor will be required to teach multiple courses from the subjects below and should be qualified for at least (1) of the below certifications or technologies.

Candidates should possess one of the following Certifications

  • Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server
  • Database Administrator
  • Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer
  • ITIL: Intermediate Level

Candidates should be able to teach two of the following course area offerings

  • Microsoft Server
  • Microsoft Exchange
